2) Give your followers a treat
We are talking about customer care. This should apply to all year round, but around Christmas time it goes a long way to give your customers that extra incentive.
During these holidays, the shopping process is strongly linked to an emotional component. Therefore, we must not neglect or abandon the customer when they need us. Use Instagram as a way of treating your followers: reply promptly to their comments and schedule some informative posts about deliveries or re-stocking products.
